Ground Based Survey

The standard tree survey. Comprehensive tree surveys carried out by our expericned consultants. These provide detailed breakdowns of tree species, dimensions, conditions, and management advice. This supports responsible maintanence and planning and development decisions.

Aerial Tree Surveys

Where trees can't be fully assessed from the ground (perhaps the top is obscured or a defect is apparent) our qualified climbers perform close quarters aerial surveys, scaling the tree for a closer look.

This allows detection of decay, storm damage, cavities, and lets us assess structural integrity and canopy conditions.

FAQ

Q : What type of tree survey do I need?

A : it depends on your goal, if you're planning development or building works, you need a BS5837 Survey. For land or estate management, a condition or safety survey would be suitable. If you are unsure, contact us below and we can advise you on the best survey for your needs.

Q : How long do tree surveys take?

A : Normally a residential or small commercial site can be surveyed in a few hours. Reports are usually then delivered within 5 to 7 days. Larger sites or sites with more complex access requirements can take longer, we will confirm timescales and pricing upfront before any work begins.

Q : Are your surveyors compliant with planning and safety standards?

A : Yes. All our surveys follow the relevant British Standards and industry best practices, something we pride ourselves on following on all fronts. BS5837 and mortgage reports are completed by our in house qualified consultants, who possess a minimum Level 4 Arboricultural Diploma qualification and usually their PTI qualification too, ensuring full compliance for planning and insurance purposes.
