Tree Surveys
Tree Surveys are an essential component of tree management, allowing you the safety and security of proper tree care. Whether you are planning a development, managing an estate, or want to ensure compliance with safety and planning regulation, our comprehensive tree surveys provide the detailed insights you need.
We offer BS5837 Tree needed for construction and planning projects, safety and tree condition surveys for landowners and managers, and arboricultural reports to support planning applications and compliance.

Aerial Tree Surveys
Where trees can't be fully assessed from the ground (perhaps the top is obscured or a defect is apparent) our qualified climbers perform close quarters aerial surveys, scaling the tree for a closer look.
This allows detection of decay, storm damage, cavities, and lets us assess structural integrity and canopy conditions.

Drone Surveys
Using high resolution aerial imagery and mapping technology, we offer drone surveys allowing a modern, non invasive method of assessing tree populations and larger sites, or assessing particularly hazardous trees where rope access may not be safe.
We offer :
Aerial mapping and canopy assessments
Tree Population Surveys for estates and developments
Photogrammetry and orthomosaic mapping
High access visual checks
FAQ
Q : What type of tree survey do I need?

A : it depends on your goal, if you're planning development or building works, you need a BS5837 Survey. For land or estate management, a condition or safety survey would be suitable. If you are unsure, contact us below and we can advise you on the best survey for your needs.

Q : How long do tree surveys take?

A : Normally a residential or small commercial site can be surveyed in a few hours. Reports are usually then delivered within 5 to 7 days. Larger sites or sites with more complex access requirements can take longer, we will confirm timescales and pricing upfront before any work begins.

Q : Are your surveyors compliant with planning and safety standards?

A : Yes. All our surveys follow the relevant British Standards and industry best practices, something we pride ourselves on following on all fronts. BS5837 and mortgage reports are completed by our in house qualified consultants, who possess a minimum Level 4 Arboricultural Diploma qualification and usually their PTI qualification too, ensuring full compliance for planning and insurance purposes.
